Have You Listened To Them yet?: May Edition Part 2 [16th-31st May 2013]

Disclaimer: All posts are just containing my OPINION. I don’t mean to offend. I mean to give only my honest feedback. Also, I do not listen to every song, although I try to.

Recommended Songs

1. Jin Woon of 2AM and Star Love Fish released ‘Words I Couldn’t Say’ for the Strawberry X-treme Festival. The music event will see performances from the hip-hop, rock and acoustic genres. ‘Words I Couldn’t Say’ sounds better with the band music than in the acoustic version. Though the starting for the song was boring, it became better once the band started playing, reminding me a little of Nell’s recent title song, ‘The White Night’. I seriously couldn’t tell where Jinwoon sang. Heh

K-Pop Songs So (really really)Far [5th – 26th Jan 2013] part 3

[19th – 26th releases] ends this time round’s KSSF. Apologies if anyone’s waiting for drama/film news. Updates will return this coming Friday/Saturday. heh:P

Again, do take note that I have not listened to every song on the albums, minis and singles.

Recommendations

1. Tiny G‘s comeback with Minimanimo🙂 The title trck is a fun song with an interesting starting melody that captures attention very quickly…for me that is. youtube link. Come to play sounded a little childish for me. It’s on the akp link if you wanna listen it out for yourself.

2. Rude Paper‘s follow-up song wadamin( slang for what do you mean) is out:)An ok song. The definition of the song as on akp: The song laments the rigid blueprint for a ‘good life’ in society today aka getting into a good college, landing that great job, getting married, and providing for a family. The music video showcases these sentiments as the lone person is seen doing well meeting expectations, but feeling stifled., featuring Naomi, the female singer. I like the MV:)

K-Pop Songs So (really really)Far [5th – 26th Jan 2013] part 2

Onto [12th-18th releases], as we continue getting some really good tracks for our music players:D

If some of you wonder about the choices, yes, there are inconsistencies. Somehow, it depends on my mood and whether the tracks seem similar to past songs I have listened to.

1. I was never much of a fan of CN Blue. They are those groups that I know and have a neutral feeling towards. But their recent comeback has me very surprised:) The MV and song for I’m Sorry are friggin’ awesome:)  Coffee Shop’s alright, but I love Na Geudae boda(I, more than you)   Naran Namja(A man like me) is good!  Lalala doesn’t have the same impact that IS, NGB and NN did for me but still on the fairly ok side. Where You Are is a smoking rock song.  Quite the incredible album for CNBlue. I’m still not an official fan but now I am quite there:D

K-Pop Songs So Far [26th Oct – 8th Nov 2012]

Point to note: a lot, and I mean, a lot of ballads have been released lately. So, forgive me if I didn’t add them into the post. My mood seems to have changed once again.

So in case I forget to mention them, Monday Kiz (that husky rapping is awesome in Probability! The chorus is just boring. That Kid is much better.) and Noel (Without a doubt, veterans. I rec woman and like a star. ) have released their albums. I must say, all the songs are actually quite good. But gradually, such good songs become hard to listen to. Which may explain why some ballads (that I heard in the start) are in the rec list.    Oh yeah and no news this week..heh. Nothing was really up..so..:P

Without importance placed on the ranking, top ones on the list is:

1. Soo Min & Rex. D Project‘s I’m Sorry is a pretty good song at just 2 minutes and 5 seconds. Soo Min is the female singer, Rex.D is the rapper in the song.

2. Lee Hi‘s debut totally. Hit. The. Right. Spot. Damn, her debut was just plain amazing – sassy and badass. I have GOT to hand it to YG CEO Yang. He really knows what he is doing. Her debut overshadowed Ji Min’s and Ah Yeon’s.

K-Pop News So Far [22nd – 25th Oct 2012] part 3: songs

This edition officially starts the new version of KNSF. The news will depend on how I feel. LOL. I’m still contemplating on what to do for Drama/Film News because it will seriously be quite..empty without the comments… Not to worry, the newer KNSF is next.

It’s already Novemberrr! OMG

Comebacks

1. B.A.P returns with a soft image in ‘Stop It‘. So nothing fierce to look forward to..though ‘stop it’ are harsh words. The MV (or Bang Yong Guk rather) is adorable.
