It’s been a sad week as shocking news of Ladies’ Code’s tragic accident overcomes Korea’s entertainment industry. Although I wasn’t a fan of LC, I’ve seen Ri Se in Running Man and grew fond of her. Sigh. RIP EunB(i) and Rise. And to the remaining members Ashley, So Jeong and Zuny, stay strong!
As a tribute to the girls, ‘I’m Fine Thank You’ rose to the top of various charts (see here), mnet and KBS both broadcasted videos in memory of EunB(i) and Rise.

Songs I Like and Would Like to Recommend
One would have to be living under a real rock to not know EXID (or member Ha Ni) and their hit ‘Up And Down’. The Hip-Hop Dance track has a ‘strong saxophone melody and catchy hook’ and was already big on variety shows before this review (obviously..). (SBS Running Man and KBS 2D1N to name a few.) The part played most on such shows was the hook. But the 2-part chorus sung by Hye Rin and Sol Ji? Awesome! Click title to read more comfortably or click to continue

I had a pretty hard time for this post, thinking about where I should put the songs, particularly ballads. I personally think ballads are good but when there are too many of the same kind, I get really biased. D:
Songs I Like and Would Like to Recommend
1.Shin Seung Hun‘s 90’s soothing, high-pitched vocals and his fall album go very well together such that the ballads (most of the tracks are) don’t sound too stale next to each other. Strangely enough, all of the ballads are my favourites of the album – ‘I’ve Changed A Lot (feat Choiza)‘ , ‘Sorry’ (The piano instrumental is darkly charming and hypnotising.), ‘You’, ‘My Melody’, ‘Butterfly Effect’, ‘Love Fool’ , ‘Turn On The Radio’. . I did like ‘I Hope (feat Ra.D)’ too, which is a remix of the original (?I remember hearing this song before…). Ra.D’s unique singing complimented the veteran singer and the way the song was remixed. Updates: I won’t be doing K-pop news for the time being. So it will just be the songs for now..unless something big comes up (The I.U.- Eunhyuk scandal was big, but I was so late. By the time I had known about it, it had become old news.) Drama/film news will still go on.

1. Block B‘s Zico has a pre-release straight out of his mix tape, On The Block 1.5. The expletives and the speed rapping!! Yeah! 😛
Point to note: a lot, and I mean, a lot of ballads have been released lately. So, forgive me if I didn’t add them into the post. My mood seems to have changed once again.
So in case I forget to mention them, Monday Kiz (that husky rapping is awesome in Probability! The chorus is just boring. That Kid is much better.) and Noel(Without a doubt, veterans. I rec woman and like a star. )have released their albums. I must say, all the songs are actually quite good. But gradually, such good songs become hard to listen to. Which may explain why some ballads (that I heard in the start) are in the rec list. Oh yeah and no news this week..heh. Nothing was really up..so..:P

1. Soo Min & Rex. D Project‘s I’m Sorry is a pretty good song at just 2 minutes and 5 seconds. Soo Min is the female singer, Rex.D is the rapper in the song.
2. Lee Hi‘s debut totally. Hit. The. Right. Spot. Damn, her debut was just plain amazing – sassy and badass. I have GOT to hand it to YG CEO Yang. He really knows what he is doing. Her debut overshadowed Ji Min’s and Ah Yeon’s.
