Have You Listened To Them Yet?: [5th Feb – 24th Feb 2014]

Disclaimer: All posts are just containing my OPINION. I don’t mean to offend. I mean to give only my honest feedback. Also, I do not listen to every song, although I try to. (I might have missed them or the site may not have posted on it. The ‘Discovered’ section exists for this reason.)

By the way, this link here is for those who wish to look at (almost) every song that came out in each week. Since I don’t like EVERY song that comes out, I thought the Soompi tag should reflect a better picture of the releases. 😀 Two other links here may help too: LINK #1 , LINK #2

Ga In returns as a ‘diva’ for her ‘Truth or Dare’ mini album comeback. The title track, ‘Truth or Dare’ is a flirty, playful pop song. (And the percussion-beats really sound like those in Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines’… ugh.) I don’t think the song was bad, it’s just not the kind of song I will listen to on a daily basis, if you know what I mean. Regardless, I think it’s a fun song that sets her comeback apart from the other sexy concepts, and one I can get behind eventually. I also like that the lyrics is something like Son Dam Bi’s ‘Red Candle’, only more in a peekaboo sort of way. The MV is also a favourite of mine, whether it be the dance version or the faux documentary (which further explained some things that was shown in the teaser). 2Bic’s falsettos and vocal control make ‘I Love You’ a beautiful ballad that is accompanied with a nicely shot MV. Strange that the teaser (the actress and the video somewhat) has no connections to the MV.   Click title to read more comfortably or click to continue

Rapper Swings returns with two songs ‘For Mother (feat. Crucial Star)’ and ‘Bulldozer’ before the year ends. The former is a hiphop-RnB track and I really like the chorus and hooks by Crucial Star. (Hehe) ‘Bulldozer’ is a darker, more aggressive (diss-and-)rap-only song with a dope beat and instrumental. (I really don’t get why hiphop songs have to be vulgar. Le sigh.)  Click title to read more comfortably or click to continue

Drama/Film News [5th – 31st Jan 2013]

And here it is!

It has been a long while since I updated you guys on the happenings of the drama/film world. I have been reading the updates on Dramabeans but none of the upcoming projects have hit me and got me interested real bad, like as though I will die from curiosity if the film/drama isn’t set to air. I mean, there were some that sounded okay but then when I think about it again, wasn’t much. More of the drama details are in the db link.

(Drama) Ad Genius Lee Tae Baek: I might try it out for Jin Goo. I have been dying to see him in a drama..because I don’t know this actor. I know. Call me strange. The plot sounds good-natured and all. Maybe I will see it, maybe I won’t. Who knows? Maybe it actually is a good show. Like how I had zero expectations for Dr. Champ. Cast: Jin Goo, Park Ha Sun, Jo Hyun Jae and Han Chae Young.

(Drama) Nine: One of those shows that confuses me but might have something in there. It’s got time-travelling and mystery going on. Just like the kind of feeling Incarnation of Money gives me. Cast: Lee Jin Wook, Jo Yoon Hee, Jeon No Min and Park Hyun Shik.

Ninehey there hottie

(Film) Battle of Yeonpyeong is about a real border attack from North Korea to South that happened in 2002. The film can be promising if done right. For now, the film has Jung Seok Won leading as commander Yoon Young Ha, a real military officer and a hero.

Drama/Film News [30th Sept 2012]

Omg..I didn’t know I missed out on so much drama news. I really thought I just missed last week’s update. I’m really sorry!

New Films

1. Yoon Kye Sang has a new like-a-drama comedy film called Acting Lessons. The plot’s really strange. Yoon Kye Sang’s character has never made it out of extra-sphere as an actor. His father’s debt becomes a problem for the family when dad goes into a coma. With the liability(both the debt and lesser income) in mind, he takes on a job where he pretends to be a wealthy family’s long-lost disabled son. I’m curious as to how the writer/director would fit such a storyline into a few hours. But…how is this about acting? Well, I guess acting requires you to act your heart out. I…I’m clearly confused..
