K-Songs So Far: 16th – 30th Sept 2013

Sorry for the late update. I was busy during the weekend and the internet kept crashing so I wasn’t able to properly work on this post. D:

Disclaimer: All posts are just containing my OPINION. I don’t mean to offend. I mean to give only my honest feedback. Also, I do not listen to every song, although I try to.

By the way, this link here is for those who wish to look at every song that came out in each week. Since I don’t like EVERY song that comes out, I thought the Soompi tag should reflect a better picture of the releases. 🙂

1. Ailee and Yiruma collaborates for ‘Higher’. I feel like I’m watching an inspiring anime with such a song as the OST. (Don’t tell me(?) it’s because of the picture… …eheh) Her explosive vocals (love her control), with the beautiful instrumental was just so good!

Unlike his previous mini-album ‘One of a Kind’, G-Dragon experiments more in his 2nd album. It got a little hard for me to be objective because I’m a G-Dragon fan. G-Dragon’s title song ‘Coup D’etat’ is a strange song for me. It’s epic and very individualistic. The funny thing is that I’m not hooked, but I love it. Looks like I’m the one getting strange here. (Hohoho.)

1. Mikey (of Double Kick)’s RnB version of Sistar’s ‘Loving You’ is my kind of song. It focuses more on the singing and, the vocals by Mikey and Olltii is awesome. It’s got this sexy but gentle and sweet(FALSETTOOOOO!…eheh) touch with the change in music style. For Sistar’s version, it would be for people who like the upbeat fun type of tracks.

Have You Listened To Them Yet?: 1st -15th Aug 2013 [updated on 1/9/13]

You know, being a newbie at blogging kinda spares you from the hate when some interpret honesty as being evil because no one really knows you yet..no one really knows me yet… bahh!

Hip-hop foursome M.I.B suit up for ‘Men In Black/Dash’. The cute, witty thing about the group is that their group name is always used as the initials for a song, or an album name, I realised. ‘Men In Black’ is a club song that is very easy to like on the first listen. The song has very nice bold beats along with an addicting chorus that follows those beats (and it’s exactly this part of the song that reminds me of another song…). The ‘Modu Deuri Deuri Dae’ part is really awesome. Btw, I really like that Gang Nam has a different melody to sing in. Haha. This time, 5Zic(why is he Zic to the O in the lyrics?) participates in the singing parts. When will it be Sims‘ turn?? Haha. Who’s the girl who sang? I wouldn’t say the concept was a bad choice. Just, it wasn’t even doing its job. (Maybe, it did, with what they are wearin’..) So, the fluid just made them cooler? Is becoming cool such a painful process? Haha. Looks like the group’s sex appeal comes in the form of 5Zic…or Zic O. ..Like DUH right. He’s so hot. 😛

Recommended (The section I get ruthless)

1. I didn’t expect to find Behind The Scenes Bang Tan Sonyeo (BTS/Bullet Proof Boys)’s debut song ‘No More Dreams’ to be the what I would recommend first, considering I rank the songs by the date they are released on. I fell in love with the edgy hip-hop track the instant I listened to it. The instrumentals are just plain fantastic, and then coupled with the group’s rap and singing, the song is just something I won’t hesitate to replay frequently for the time being. Speaking of instrumentals, the start of ‘No More Dreams’ sounded so innocent. Ha! The group seems to have more rappers than singers, with V and Jeong Kook visibly doing more of the singing. I like the way Rap Monster…err..raps. His gruff voice also adds to the roughness of the song.
